It was gold for Latvia at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships in Canada March 13 with the pair of Polina Rožkova and Agris Lasmans securing a first-ever title in the Mixed Doubles discipline.

According to the official championship https://worldcurling.org/2023/03/wwhmdcc-final/:

"In a close final game at the World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2023 between Latvia and United States, Latvia prevailed as champions over United States, 11-8.

Latvia’s team of Polina Rozkova and Agris Lasmans, coached by Erkki Lill, held an early 5-1 lead after four ends. But with two scores of three points, United States clawed back, 8-7.

After a nail-biting climax Latvia claimed the victory, 11-8 with the USA securing silver and hosts Canada bronze.

The victory should considerably help the pair's efforts to qualify for the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Italy.
