The “Sports Small Team of the Year” award was won by beach volleyball players Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova.
In the nomination for “Athlete of the Year in Technical Sports,” the award went to the 17-year-old brothers Daniels and Bruno Lielbārdis, who won fifth place in the world motocross championship.
World champion in javelin Diāna Krūmiņa and disc thrower Aigars Apinis won the nomination for Paralympic Athlete of the Year.
In 2022, figure skater Deniss Vasiljevs and beach volleyball player Tīna Graudiņa were recognized as the best athletes in Latvia.
The Three Star Prize 2023 is organized by the Latvian Olympic Committee in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science.
