Latvian golfers raise 14,000 euros for Ukraine

Golfers in Latvia raised more than 14,000 euros for Ukraine at a charity tournament this month, with the proceeds due to be used to purchase an off-road vehicle and drone.

The tournament at the Ozo Golf Club near Rīga was sponsored by betting firm William Hill Latvia, and ended with a donation of 14,393 euros, which will be used to purchase an off-road pick-up truck for the evacuation of victims of Russia's war in Ukraine and a drone for the reconnaissance needs of the Ukrainian army.

Representatives of the "Entrepreneurs for Peace" foundation also participated in the tournament.
