Fourth medal for Latvia at Paralympic games

Latvia's Diana Dadzite won bronze medal in the women's discus throw at the Rio Paralympic Games on September 17, collecting her second medal and Latvia's fourth of the games.

Dadzite, competing in the F55 group, threw the discus 22.66 meters, setting a new personal best.

China's Dong Feixia won the gold with 25.03 meters, while Marianne Buggenhagen won silver medal with a result of 24.56 meters.

She tweeted her reaction to the win.

As previously reported, Dadzite set a new world record of 23.26 meters, in the women's javelin throw at the Paralympic Games a week earlier.

Earlier Aigars Apinis won gold in the men's discus throw, while Edgars Bergs won bronze in the men's shot put.
