Men's pair finish 4th in Olympic beach volleyball tournament

Latvian beach volleyball duo Martins Pļaviņš and Edgars Točs have finished fourth in the men's Olympic beach volleyball tournament.

In the bronze medal match today, 14th-seeded Pļaviņš/Točs lost to third-seeded Qatari pair Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan 0-2 (12:21, 18:21).

As previously reported, Latvian women's beach volleyball pair Tina Graudiņa and Anastasija Kravčenoka also finished fourth in the Olympic women's tournament.
