As well as obvious sports such as biathlon, skiing and ice hockey, a total of around 220 troops also took part in more esoteric activities such as ice fishing -- with use of depth charges and torpedoes strictly outlawed.
Latvia hosted the first such games in 2014, so this is basically the same as the Olympic games returning to Greece.
