The invitation is being issued by organizers of the Digital Freedom Festival (DFF), about which LSM has written extensively in the past.

This year's DFF takes place November 27-28 in Riga, but ahead of that the startup gathering is intended to be a flashmob style event to express support for startup infrastructure in Latvia and a demonstration of the strength of interest in the world of startups.
Though flashmobs are frequently rebellious counter-cultural affairs, this one promises to be more genteel, featuring as it does Economics Minister Arvils Aseradens and Juris Gulbis, one of the highest-paid executives in the country at majority state-owned Lattelecom.
Among the attendees will be DFF founder Dagnija Lejina, who appeared on our Minutes from Latvia podcast last year.
