Narvesen convenience store chain changes name

The company managing the retail franchise “Narvesen” changed the name to “Reitan Convenience Latvia”, thus reflecting the name of its owner Reitan, according to information from “Firmas.lv”, LETA reported June 20.

The company's name change appeared in the Enterprise Registry on Friday, June 17.

The sole owner of Reitan Convenience Latvia is the Norwegian Reitan Convenience.

Reitan Convenience Latvia was registered in 1997 and has a core capital of EUR 10 592 672.

The company is owned by the Norwegian company Reitan, represented in the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic by brands such as “Narvesen”, “7-eleven”, “Caffeine”, “R-kiosk”, “Pressbyrån”, “UnoX” and “REMA 1000”.
