Latvian print-on-demand company Printful announced October 12 it is opening a third fulfillment center in Europe, and seventh globally. The new fulfillment center is in Rīga at Marupe Smart Park industrial space, and covers around 3,000 square meters with operations to be launched in the first quarter of 2021.

It is Printful's second fulfillment center in Riga and will initially serve as a storage and warehousing space, as well as boost capacity in the existing Lidostas Parks facility.

"In preparation for the upcoming annual ecommerce peak season—Black Friday and Cyber Monday—all of the company's fulfillment centers in Europe, the US, Canada, and Mexico, as well as partner facilities in Australia and Japan will be working full speed to meet the increased production demand. During last year's peak, Printful experienced a significant increase in orders, and the demand is predicted to be even larger this year due to the growing number of Printful customers," the company said in a statement.

Printful is an on-demand printing and warehousing company that fulfills and ships custom clothing, accessories, and home and living items for online businesses. Since its founding in 2013, Printful has delivered more than 22 million items, and in 2019 the company generated revenues of $116 million. Printful has 1,100 employees.
