Developers have announced a second stage of construction at the 'Business Garden Rīga' business park in the Latvian capital. Vastint Latvia is planning to launch its second phase of construction following a tender and is in the process of selecting construction partners.

Business Garden Rīga is a "multifunctional office campus" in Pārdaugava, located next to the intersection of Kārļa Ulmaņa avenue and Lielirbes street. The first project phase was completed in summer of 2019, comprising two new office buildings on Malduguņu Street 1 and 2 with more than 14,000 m2 of leasable area.

The completed office buildings boast a private kindergarten and a "micro-mobility point" for bicycles and scooters, with a new restaurant and multifunctional lounge-type premises designed for business, socializing and networking coming soon.

The second stage of construction is expected to nearly triple the total size of the project, producing three new five-story office buildings with 27,000 m2 of leasable space.

"As the campus grows, so does its garden – there are plans in place to enlarge the campus green area with more than 180 new plants, including lots of new and tall trees. For our tenants’ comfort, stage two construction will also include improvements of the existing mobility point and development of the extensive underground and above-ground car parks, that are designed to accommodate more than 800 automobiles," said lead project architect Ansis Klīdzējs of the Didrihsons architectural bureau.
