To inform and help residents and entrepreneurs who support Ukraine and its citizens or whose business is affected by the war in Ukraine, the State Revenue Service (VID) has launched a dedicated phone for tax issues on aid and cooperation with Ukraine – 67120012, VID said March 21.

The phone will operate from Monday to Thursday from 8:15 to 17:00 and on Fridays from 8:15 to 15:45.

By calling it, every entrepreneur and resident will be able to receive answers from the VID consultants to questions about tax payment in various situations related to aid and cooperation, such as collecting or sending donations, providing shelter, helping refugees to start work or their economic activities in Latvia, as well as other situations where tax advice or cooperation with the VID is needed.

Current information on tax issues related to events in Ukraine is also available in the “Help Ukraine” section of the VID website.
