The company's consolidated profit increased by 61%, or almost 1 million euros compared to the same period in 2020 to stand at 2.6 million euros, while turnover showed an increase of 20% compared to the same period in 2020.
In the first half of 2021 the company's EBITDA reached 4.5 million euros, an annual increase of 31%. Considering the current growth trend, Virši management believes that there is a possibility to reach at least 9 million EBITDA in 2021.
“Convincing past and present financial results have encouraged shareholders and the company's management to plan the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Virši shares in the second half of 2021. The purpose of the IPO is to raise additional capital to further accelerate and facilitate the implementation of the Virši future development strategy. In June 2020, there were 61 service stations in the Virši network, reaching 64 in 2021. The turnover in convenience stores has increased by 30%, or 3.5 million euros. The net profit margin in the first half of 2021 was 2.7% (in 2020: 2.0%).
