Flash estimate: Latvia's GDP down by 0.1% in Q3

Flash estimate published by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) on October 30 shows that in the 3rd quarter of 2023, compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022, gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 0.1 % (according to seasonally and calendar non-adjusted data).

According to provisional estimations, the GDP was affected by a drop of 3.3 % in producing sectors and of 0.1 % in services sectors. Collected taxes on products increased by 1.9 %.

Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2023, GDP increased by 0.6 % (according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data).
