Fresh data from the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) published February 10 show that in January 2022, compared to January 2021, the average level of consumer prices increased by 7.4 %.

"The greatest pressure on the average price level change in January 2022 compared to January 2021 was put by the rise in prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, goods and services related to transport, goods and services related to housing, furnishings, clothing and footwear, goods and services related to recreation and culture, within the group of miscellaneous goods and services as well as health care," the CSB said.

In January 2022, compared to December 2021, the average level of consumer prices remained unchanged.
