Ground-breaking «Digital Freedom Festival» underway

An innovative get-together themed round the digital economy kicks off in Latvia November 28

On 28 and 29 November Riga hosts the first ever global technology, lifestyle and Startup event, named the Digital Freedom Festival (DFF) , which brings together technology and startup entrepreneurs, experts, policy makers, investors and inspirational speakers from all over the world.

Several sessions of the event will be available to watch online on LSM, beginning with a 10:00 discussion about politics and digital cooperation.

A special DFF shortcut mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play and AppStore for those with a suitably hi-tech approach to life.

The conference program is available HERE.

The festival will focus on the digital revolution, its impact on business, politics and lifestyle. Over two days the participants will seek answers so that public, policy makers and entrepreneurs can better cooperate and to use technology to their advantage.

Startup business will be able to participate in educational workshops, and pitch ideas to attract potential customers, investors, staff and international media attention. Investors are invited to meet with the most promising startup and tech companies from the Baltic region, as well as from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

And to find out more about the thinking behind DFF you can listen to our podcast with organizer Dagnija Lejina below.
