Take note – story published 3 years ago

Data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) and published January 4 show that, compared to November 2019, in November 2020, industrial production output rose by 2.7 % (according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices).

Production output increase was observed in mining and quarrying (of 20.5 %) (affected by the increase of exports of peat) and in manufacturing (4.3 %). In turn, the supply of electricity and gas decreased by 10 % due to a significant decrease in the volume of electricity produced in hydroelectric power plants as well as in gas supply to consumers.

Compared to October 2020, in November 2020, industrial production output rose by 1.5 %.
