“Effective October 21, temporary restrictions on the import to Russia from the EU of a series of food products including pork and beef byproducts, beef fats, pork fats, including bacon and poultry fats shall have taken effect,” announced Agriculture Supervisory Service representative Aleksey Alekseyenko.

Russia’s agricultural goods supervisory authorities announced Monday that new prohibitions against EU food product import categories were being added to current banned goods lists, including pork, poultry and beef fats and byproducts, reported LETA.
