Take note – story published 3 years ago

All the winners of the Nasdaq Baltic Awards 2021 have now been named. In contrast to previous years which saw a single ceremony handing out the awards, this year the awards were drip-fed online over the course of two weeks.

The Nasdaq Baltic Awards celebrate the achievements of Nasdaq Baltic listed companies in the areas of transparency, sound corporate governance and investor relations.

Awards are presented during the biennial Nasdaq Baltic Awards ceremony to listed companies, stock exchange members, media and other stakeholders, in order to showcase excellence in investor relations and encourage more investment and media interest in the Baltic capital markets.

Latvia's Latvenergo energy company and MADARA Cosmetics were among the winners.

The full list of award winners is:

Investor Relations of the Year: Port of Tallinn

Best Investor Relations on the Bond Market: Latvenergo

Best Investor Relations on First North: MADARA Cosmetics

Stock Exchange Member of the Year: LHV Pank

Stock Exchange Highlight of the Year: IPO of Ignitis Group

In addition a ’Best Capital Market Coverage in Media’ award was handed out in each Baltic country to recognize a journalist or an editorial board for raising awareness, providing insight and spurring debate about issues related to capital markets. The winner in Estonia was the stock market editorial team in Äripäev. In Latvia it was Latvia’s main national radio station Latvijas Radio 1, and in Lithuania it was the financial markets section of Verslo Žinios.
