She said that business representatives often complain about not understanding taxes, therefore VID should be very welcoming, "like a babysitter that pampers the small company, helping it to grow into a proper tax payer," said Cirule.
She said that VID should work on simplifying its communication with customers.
"I should admit that I myself sometimes do not understand the letter VID employees are sending to customers," said Cirule, adding that VID explanations are often too long and too complicated.
Cirule started work in her position on November 14, 2016.
