The route was closed more than two years ago due to repairs on Ģertrūdes Street.
Route 1 trolleybuses will run on working days, said Baiba Bartaševiča-Feldmane, representative of the municipal public transport company Rīgas Satiksme:
"Due to the flow of trolleybuses, boarding the route of this trolleybus is organized throughout the day through the front door and disembarkation through the middle and rear doors. This trolley bus movement, taking into account passenger traffic, will be provided on business days.
