The annual Christmas tram is back with a vengeance and a lot of blue lights, as reported by the public transport company Rīgas Satiksme in its Facebook entry on December 6.
The tram will periodically change its routes, presumably so that Santa can get to most districts of the city. On Wednesday, it serves Route No. 1 (Imanta–Jugla).
Rīgas Satiksme said the festive street-car would be around until mid-January.
