Roadworks are already taking place in 40 sections of the state road this week. Construction works resume on Vidzemes Highway (A2) from the turn to Cēsis in Melturi (P20) to Rīdzene, and traffic is regulated in five stages, therefore the 11-kilometer-long section takes 45 minutes.
Due to restrictions, an additional half hour on the road should be provided when driving from Ventspils in the direction of Dundaga (P77), where four sections of temporary traffic lights operate.
