IIn many stages traffic moves along one lane with traffic lights, LVC said.
The biggest restrictions are on the regional road Ventspils-Kolka (P124) near Ventspils, where there are seven temporary traffic lights and it takes nearly an hour to pass the section. Five temporary traffic lights and 45 minutes on the road shall be provided for crossing the section of the Vidzemes Highway (A2) from the turn to Cesis (P20) to Rīfzene, as well as driving from Kangari to Tīnūži on the Inčukalns-Ropaži-Ikšķile (P10).
LVC asks that you plan weekend routes in good time.
