Train schedule changes expected on several routes in Latvia

In connection with planned modernization works of the railway infrastructure of the state JSC "Latvian Railways", from May 13 to June 5, changes in train traffic in the direction of Tukums, Daugavpils, Indra, Rēzekne, Zilupe, Madona, Gulbene and Aizkraukle have been introduced, passenger train operator Vivi said.

On the section Lielvārde - Aizkraukle, passenger transport will be provided by buses in some cases.

In general, due to the planned railway modernization works, from May 13 to June 5 inclusive, the operation of some trains on the following routes will be affected:

Rīga - Sloka, Riga - Dubulti, Tukums II - Rīga, Ķemeri - Rīga, Sloka - Rīga and Dubulti - Rīga;

Rīga - Daugavpils, Rīga - Krāslava, Rīga - Indra, as well as Indra - Rīga , Krāslava - Rīga , Daugavpils - Rīga , Līvāni - Rīga , Zilupe - Rīga , Rezekne II - Rīga , Krustpils - Rīga , Gulbene - Rīga and Madona - Rīga ;

Rīga - Aizkraukle, Rīga - Lielvārde, Aizkraukle - Rīga , Lielvārde - Rīga and Ogre - Rīga .
