With a post-Covid boom in travel gathering pace as the summer flight schedules offer a wider choice of destinations, it is recommended that travellers arrive at the airport at least two hours before wheels-up time.
"Arrive at Rīga Airport at least two hours before your flight! As the number of travelers increases, lines may also form for check-in and security checks, so we encourage you to arrive in good time and catch your flight without rushing," the airport said.
✈️Ierodies #lidostaRīga vismaz divas stundas pirms sava lidojuma!

The airport issued a similar reminder earlier in May, as reported by LSM previously. Building work to construct a new Rail Baltica terminal and consequent changes to public transport and parking arrangements could also add a few minutes to passengers' itineraries.
