Latvian Postal service warns about fraudsters

Take note – story published 2 years ago

Latvian Postal service Latvijas Pasts issued an alert on March 10 about scamming activity, urging customers to be wary of suspicious emails.

E-mails sent as if on behalf of Latvijas Pasts indicate that a parcel has been received at the post and prompt the customer to confirm payments in order to receive the parcel.

LP reminded that customers should always check the sender's e-mail address because Latvijas Pasts e-mail address always ends with @ pasts.lv.

Information can be specified at Latvijas Pasts Customer Center by calling 67008001, 27008001 or by e-mail at: [email protected].
