Latvian repatriation flights planned from Vienna, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Oslo over next month

Upon request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is processing repatriation requests submitted through Latvian consular services, the Ministry of Transport has granted Latvian national airline airBaltic special permission to schedule additional repatriation flights back to Rīga International Airport from Vienna, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Oslo over the next month, according to the airline on April 22.

Fights to and from Vienna are scheduled for April 29. Flights to and from Frankfurt and Amsterdam had already been scheduled for April 22, 29 and May 6, but now include additional flights on May 7. Each flight can carry up to 140 passengers. airBaltic has scheduled flights on May 6 to and from Oslo, while flights to and from Helsinki are also scheduled for May 7.
