Latvia's 'green list' for travel remains unchanged

Take note – story published 2 years ago

The updated list of epidemiological requirements for arrivals into Latvia from other countries was published on February 11 by the Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC), but it remains essentially the same as previously with the Vatican still the only place on the 'green list' of European countries.

Farther afield destinations including Taiwan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Macau also have 'green' status.

The classification system rates travel to each country as low (green), high (yellow), or very high risk (red).

The epidemiological requirements based upon the lists come into force at midnight, i.e. 00:00 on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
