With a total investment of €2.8 million, the company will set up 92 new parcel lockers throughout Latvia by the end of February. The locations of the new lockers are scheduled to be announced gradually. It is currently expected that the lockers will also be installed in at least 25 populated areas where they have not previously been. The expansion will also increase capacity for the existing lockers with the highest load level.
After the expansion, the total number of Omniva lockers in Latvia will reach 300, while the total number of pickup points – 448 sites. In total, 40,285 compartments will be available on the network, located in 118 populated areas.
