On average 14% of travelers do not fill out Covidpass form

Over the past two weeks, around 14% of the arrivals in Latvia had not submitted the electronic questionnaire Covidpass.lv, said the State Border Guard December 21.

Since December 7, the State Border Guard has stepped up monitoring of arrivals on roads in the vicinity of internal borders.

On average, 2,000 to 3,000 persons travelling to Latvia are checked daily in the vicinity of internal borders, but apparently not all are informed of the electronic declaration questionnaire Covidpass.lv which has been a mandatory requirement since October.

On average 14% of travelers have not submitted this form.

The State Border Guard recalled that all persons entering Latvia must complete the Covidpass form not earlier than 48 hours before the border of Latvia is crossed.
