Even though in November, compared to the previous year, there was a significant rise in the number of passengers, the total number of flights in November comprised 4 384, which is 1 % less than a year ago. It "indicates a larger occupancy of planes and a greater number of passengers on them," the CSB said.
In eleven months of this year the number of passengers at airport comprised 4.9 million passengers, which is 2.9 million or 2.4 times more than in the corresponding period of 2021 and 2.5 times more than in the eleven months of 2020. However, it is still 31.8 % less than in the pre-Covid corresponding period of 2019.
In November 2022 the total volume of cargo and mail loaded and unloaded comprised 1.8 thousand tonnes, which is 1.6 % more than in October, but 46.9 % less than in November 2021.
In November 0.7 thousand tonnes of cargo and mail were unloaded, which is 65.1 % less than in November 2021, but 1 thousand tonnes of cargo and mail were loaded, which is 16.6 % less.
