On 9 May, traffic restrictions will be in place around Uzvaras Parks, said Riga City Council.

Based on recommendations from the State Police, between 8:00 and 24:00, vehicles (except operational vehicles) will be banned from stopping and parking on either side of Bāriņu Street, from Uzvaras Boulevard to Eduarda Smiļģa Street and from Bāriņu Street to Ojāra Vācieša Street.

The State Police will, if necessary, regulate, restrict or suspend traffic on these streets. The police will also ensure road safety and public order at the specified time.

Warnings about assembly ban will be placed in the park, and trade will not be allowed in the vicinity.
