An extensive program of different events has been announced, and you will be able to watch some of them live on LSM.
The Choir Competition Final will feature Latvia’s best amateur men's, women's, mixed, and senior choirs. The participants will be judged by an international jury. The Rīga Latvian Society House will host senior choirs (starting 12:00), men's choirs (starting 15:00), and women's choirs (starting 18:00). Each choir has a mandatory piece (folk song Es uzaugu diža meita for senior women's choirs; folk song Krauklīt's sēž ozolā for senior mixed choirs; Emīls Dārziņš – Mūžam zili ir Latvijas kalni for men's choirs; and Aldonis Kalniņš, Skaidrīte Kaldupe – Latgalē for women's choirs) and a piece of choice.
