Robinson has served as ambassador to Latvia since February 2023.
The interview on LTV's broadcast 1:1 with journalist Gundars Rēders touching upon the war in Ukraine, NATO unity, Latvia's economic ties with the States, and a range of other topics.
Throughout, Robinson is effusive in his praise for Latvia and eve goes so far as to state that he had a tear in his eye during last year's Song Festival. However, he also suggests American individuals and companies find it too difficult to open bank accounts in Latvia and that as a consequence the country is missing out on opportunities.
