STRATCOMCOE chief on how Russia is losing the information war

Take note – story published 1 year ago

On February 2, the Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) presented some of its latest research and analysis on various topics. Among the presentations was this one from Jānis Sārts, director of STRATCOMCOE, which is now available on the Centre's YouTube channel, where you will also find a selection of other presentations from the day.

"Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has threatened values that underpin the rules-based international order: human rights, peace, security, self-determination, and national sovereignty. Throughout the years, NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence has studied information manipulation as an integral part of the malicious influence campaigns, and Russia’s unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine has once again emphasized the importance of information warfare," says accompanying material.
