Baltic and Polish Foreign Ministers meeting in Rīga Tuesday

January 31, 2023 sees Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs playing host to his counterparts from Poland and the Baltic states as the close cooperation between the four countries continues.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Zbigniew Rau, are arriving in Rīga for a discussion on latest developments concerning security, Russia’s war in Ukraine, support for Ukraine, and energy issues.

After several hours of talks, in the afternoon they are due to sign a Joint Declaration on enhancing cooperation in the region and to hold a joint press conference, which you can watch live below.
