Eastern Partnership and Central Asia grant project open for submissions

On 27 March 2018, Latvia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the start of its latest grant project competition, "Support for development cooperation project in recipient countries selected by the Republic of Latvia".

This year, the eligible countries are selected Eastern Partnership countries Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, as well as Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The total funding available for the projects is EUR 213,013. Any single development cooperation grant project can receive from EUR 20,000 to EUR 40,000.

Eligible applicants are institutions of direct and indirect public administration of the Republic of Latvia, its local governments, government agencies as well as associations, foundations, businesses, and trade unions, but applicants will also need to have at least one cooperation partner in one of the above-mentioned recipient countries.

The deadline for the submission of project applications (in Latvian) is 16.00 on 23 April 2018. Further information about the terms and conditions of the competition are available from [email protected]
