Greek foreign minister in town

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias paid a visit to Latvia September 6, fitting in a series of meetings.

After talks with his local counterpart Edgars Rinkevics, a brief press conference was held.

The two sides expressed mutual satisfaction in numerous areas including cultural and energy cooperation.

LSM asked the Greek minister if he was satisfied with the levels of support he was getting from northern European countries including Latvia to help deal with large-scale flows of migrants and refugees.

"I'm happy with the support from Latvia, I'm not happy with everybody," replied Kotzias.

The press conference was then brought to an immediate close.
