The event will be opened at 12:00 by the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gunda Reire, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia, Olexandr Mischenko.
To look back at 2022 and the way ahead to Ukraine’s victory, the discussion brings together the Chair of the European Affairs Committee at the Saeima (the Latvian Parliament), Andris Sprūds, the Director of the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS), Inese Vaivare, and the Director of the First Bilateral Relations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Katarina Plātere.
The Governor of the Luhansk Region in Ukraine, Serhiy Haidai, will share Ukraine’s experience over the past year and its unflagging efforts in the fight against the aggressor, Russia. The discussion will be moderated by the member of the Board of LATO, Žaneta Ozoliņa.
