Information from the Central Election Commission (CVK) shows that by the end of October 4, the second day of early voting, 0.97% of the eligible electorate had already cast their ballots.
Friday sees a third day of early voting opportunities at selected polling stations before the main election day on October 6.
As expected, the highest advance voter activity has been in Rīga, with turnout already at 1.42%.
