Harmony, Greens/Farmers, New Unity report largest campaign costs so far

So far the Harmony party, the Union of Greens and Farmers and the New Unity have reported the largest pre-election campaign costs for the 13th Saeima election campaign, the Corruption Prevention Bureau (KNAB) reported.

The maximum costs allowed to a party for the pre-election campaign is €533,347.

The official pre-election period started on June 9 and by August 17 Harmony has reported €376,854 in its campaign costs, Greens/Farmers reported €281,996, the New Unity reported €137,205.

For Development/For! party has reported €111,594, the National Alliance reported €59,863, the New Conservative Party reported €18,895.

Other parties have not spent more than €15,000 in their campaigns so far.

Parliamentary elections in Latvia will be held on October 6.
