14 deputies voted for the dismissal of Sausina, who had also submitted a request to the City Council regarding a confidence vote.
Five deputies, including Sausiņa herself, voted against the dismissal.
For now, deputy Kristaps Zaļais will serve as mayor, the municipality reported.
