Defense Minister Artis Pabriks (Development/For!) will execute the duties of Health Minister until the new Minister takes post.
Pabriks has said multiple times that he is unwilling to be made interim Health Minister. However, according to Prime Minister's bureau, there was no choice, as Pabriks has the most experience among all members of the political faction. The Prime Minister's order comes into force immediately.
Development/For! has chosen Daniels Pavļuts as candidate for the position of Health Minister.
