And even though the presidency itself has just two weeks to run before Luxembourg takes over for the second half of the year, the number of events taking place in the Latvian capital is increasing rather than diminishing.
Tuesday sees more than a dozen high-level events taking place with the EU28 Cloud Security Conference, the VI Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, the First Innovative Enterprise week, the 10th Baltic Sea Science Congress, 12th meeting of the Eastern Partnership Integrated Border Management Panel, General Assembly of the European Judicial Training Network, High Level Working Group on Competitiveness and Growth, 25th Congress of the Nordic Association of Agriculture Scientists, an Informal meeting of the Working Group on Ageing Populations and Sustainability of public finances, the 1st INTERREG EUROPE Monitoring Committee’s Meeting, the Clinical Trials Facilitation Group (CTFG) and something called the DLM Forum.
And that doesn't include the ministerial meetings being hosted by Latvia's EU Presidency in Brussels.
