With just a week until the landmark Riga Summit takes place in the Latvian capital involving all 28 European Union member states plus the 6 Eastern Partners themselves, Latvia's dedicated Ambassador to the Eastern Partnership, Juris Poikāns outlined what to expect from the event.
Speaking to LSM in the echoing chambers of the Foreign Ministry building, Poikāns stressed that the Summit would likely see a new format emerge for the EU's Eastern Partnership and remained upbeat about the prospects of hammering out a Riga Declaration acceptable to 34 different countries.
