Latvian Occupation museum's facade smashed Monday

The facade of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia was damaged in an apparent act of vandalism on Sunday night or  Monday morning, Latvian Television reported.

Police are currently investigating the incident after receiving a call on the morning of April 3. It was found that three large window-panes, forming the exterior of the building, had been smashed over an area of around 17 square meters.

A criminal case has been initiated for the deliberate destruction or damage of property.

The museum building was commissioned in 2021 after extensive renovations.
