A cyber atack against Latvia's broadcasting infrastructure agency has been "completely repelled", it was stated July 7.

As previously reported by LSM, on July 6 the Latvia State Radio and Television Center (LVRTC) said it had come under sustained cyber-attack.

In the end the attack lasted "more than twelve hours" but was "completely repelled" Thursday morning and all services restored, the LVRTC tweeted.

The head of the Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence, Jānis Sārts, said Latvian institutions have been under "intense Russian cyber atack" for more than a month, but had coped well with the threat.
