The Stopify convoy has provided two pickups, charging stations, helmets, headphones, drones, aiming equipment, and more to be sent to the front.
Also, about 200 Ukrainian defenders will receive summer uniforms sewn up according to NATO standards for each soldier individually. These are provided by the company Latvijas finieris. One set, or one summer form, consists of eight units: a fleece jacket, gown, trousers, two shirts, two pairs of hiking socks and tactical boots.
Latvenergo also has provided dozens of high-end batteries.
The Society “Your Friends” has brought gifts for children and help for the mother and child convoy. The convoy will feature product sets from pianist Andrejs Osokins, computers, as well as many other necessary things for Ukrainian soldiers.
This time is special due to the fact that the humanitarian convoy is escorted to the front by the new Ukrainian ambassador to Latvia Anatoly Kucevol and Rīga schools pupils, who have made drawings with well-wishes to Ukrainian soldiers.
The convoy will reach Kyiv a few days after leaving Rīga.
