STRATCOMCOE trumpets its new training tool

The Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) has published a video promoting a new strategic communications training tool it has developed called 'InfoRange'.

The video sees STRATCOMCOE Director Jānis Sārts talking up the new tool alongside Senior Expert Gūna Šnore and Dr. Mart Noorma of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE) based in Tallinn, Estonia.

The innovation is described as an Information Environment (IE) simulation platform developed by NATO STRATCOMCOE together with unspecified companies in the private sector.

"It serves training purposes from tactical to strategic level and can be used for StratCom training requirements of different subject matter areas. This comprehensive simulation environment offers opportunities for observations and conclusions about the role of StratCom in crisis or conflict and thereby provide [a] validation environment for concepts and doctrines," accompanying information states.
