35 more migrants deterred from crossing border Wednesday night

On the night from Wednesday August 11 to Thursday August 12, border guards did not allow 35 migrants to cross the Belarus-Latvia border, according to Interior Minister Marija Golubeva (Development/For!)

The night before, 56 people were deterred from crossing the border.

Thus, in two days since the state of emergency allowing the border guard to promptly deny entry and return migrants to the country of origin has been announced in the Latvia-Belarus border area, 91 persons have not been allowed to cross the border.
